Hey guys! I’m Dan from Dan’s Dad Life (Erica’s better half) and I’m teaming up with Dove Men+Care at CVS for this post! Basically, I am here to hijack Erica’s blog because, every once in a while, I like to have my moment to shine and since she has the bigger audience, I’m totally take advantage.
If you know anything about me from following Erica, then you already know I’m a huge football fan. As a former Colorado Buff, every single year, I am determined to see them win (at least one game…). Just as every football game has their defensive and offensive coordinators, this year, I’m going to be YOUR grooming coordinator.
Basically, since college football can be a little intense, I’m going to share a few products that I know will help you stay fresh as you root for your favorite team.
Dove Men + Care Extra Fresh Body & Face Wash
Even if your team stinks, you don’t have to. Haha, I’m so funny. But seriously, I love this product because it rinses my skin clean while rehydrating it. Since I’m prone to dry skin, it’s SO important for me to have a product that doesn’t strip everything away without locking the moisture in and this Dove wash does just that.
And since it smells super masculine, it will keep your wife from stealing it. And if they do…at least they will smell like delicious menthol.
Vaseline Men Fast Absorbing Hand & Body Lotion
The “extra point play” for finishing off your men’s care routine is THIS Vaseline lotion. See what I did there, lol? Real talk, this lotion is a “game changer”.
I did it again.
As I mentioned earlier, I am prone to dry skin and this lotion helps heal my skin with long-lasting moisture. It’s fast-absorbing and non-greasy which Erica loves because I won’t ruin her overpriced sheets.
So there you have it. I might sit on the couch for 8 hours during game day, but at least with these products I won’t smell like it. WINNING. Head over to your local CVS and grab them! We can be great smelling, baby soft skinned, game day twins.

Now back to your regularly scheduled recipes…
