Smoothie bowls have been dominating IG feeds all over for a while and with their beautiful colors and healthy benefits, who’s complaining?
However, just like a lot of “health” food, unless you’re making it from scratch yourself, there can be a lot of hidden carbs and calories. Truth be told, I’ve been dying to make these at home with Elia. They’re interactive, delicious, and a great way for Elia to learn colors and foods.
I took to the internet to get some inspiration and settled on a kid- friendly St. Patrick’s Day smoothie bowl. After brainstorming some flavor combos I knew wouldn’t fail, I headed to Peapod.com to order all my ingredients. As you all know I am Peapod obsessed and for good reason. Most people would hesitate to order produce online for someone else to pick out for them but truthfully I have never been disappointed, they really do make life and meals SO much easier!
Right now, Peapod is offering 60 days free delivery, so there is no better time to sign-up and give them a try!
These bowls turned out beyond amazing. Obviously I had to create one bowl for that perfect Instagram shot while Elia had free rein over her own mini bowl. We had so much fun putting them together. Check out how simple it was below!
