A few days ago, I put an Instagram story up about hiring a new intern and the response was overwhelming.
While reading everyone’s e-mails, I couldn’t help but think to myself, “How can I turn any of these amazing people down?” Each and every one of the applicants displayed such a passion for my brand. They felt like they were a part of my journey (and they are) and we’re so eager to learn from me so that they could pursue their own path. I just love it!
This got me thinking. Clearly, there’s no way I can hire all of these people, but I want to be able to support their dreams and make them an even bigger part of mine.
Then, it hit me.
I need to create a subset of my blog called, “The #Ericrew Corner”. A place where people, who have expressed dedication to my brand, can share their passion with my followers. In turn, it would help them build their own personal brand and/or give them a way to be a bigger part of the Everything Erica community. I would mentor these people, help them come up with content ideas and support their dreams the best that I can. Their posts/Instagram Handles would be promoted to my followers and would really serve as an incubator for people looking to pursue this passion.
My long-term goal is to be able to provide the #ericrew members with lots free products, paid gigs and a platform to follow their dreams. If this sounds like something you want to be a part of, e-mail me at [email protected] with the following information:
