I simply love the fall in Chicago.
Not only does it give me a chance to whip out my favorite boots and cozy sweaters (sans coat), but now, I get to bring my daughter Elia to all the fun fall festivities!
This weekend we headed over to a free, family-friendly event in Bucktown thrown by Conagra. The event was put together to unveil their gorgeous mural by renowned artist, Jeff Zimmermann. This insane work of art is right off the 606 park system. To celebrate, the Conagra team had a fun, fall-inspired event with pumpkin-decorating, face-painting, popcorn and hot cocoa.Conagra Brands recently moved its headquarters from Omaha, Nebraska to Chicago. To celebrate the move to this great city (and to recognize how awesome the Chicago is), Conagra collaborated with Jeff Zimmermann to resurrect a mural on The 606’s Bloomingdale Trail. The mural depicts the unique culture of Chicago and the more entrepreneurial, innovative culture Conagra is fostering in its new space at the Merchandise Mart.
Both the artist and the Conagra team were there to cut the ribbon and celebrate!
It was such a wonderful event to attend!
Here a few more photos from day.
Oh…and did I mention it makes the PERFECT blogger backdrop?
Ok, so I’m clearly not a fashion blogger, but hey, a girl can try, right?! 🙂
Love always,
Erica
