With Chicago summer in full swing, we all need something to cool down with. This smoothie bowl is the perfect (and easiest) way to help you wake up on the right side of the bed! If you haven’t tried avocado in a smoothie before, you’re missing out (even if you think you don’t like them!) It adds a beautiful creaminess to the smoothie bowl that makes it even more delectable. Obviously, this recipe is very flexible. You can use whatever berries you like and you can arrange your toppings to your own tastes.
Avocado Berry Smoothie Bowl

Ingredients
Smoothie
- 2 Bananas frozen
- 1 Avocado
- 1 cup Blackberries and Raspberries frozen or fresh
- 1/2 cup Coconut Milk
Toppings
- Granola
- Coconut Flakes unsweetened
- Chia Seeds
- 1/2 Banana fresh
- Almonds crushed
Instructions
- Blend your smoothie ingredients. You may need to add more coconut milk, or whichever liquid you’re using, to get the smoothie to blend properly.
- Place the smoothie mixture in the freezer for about five minutes. This will help thicken it up so that you can place your toppings on and make it Instagram worthy.
- Assemble your toppings and create your smoothie bowl masterpiece!
