Last week, I created a burger that may actually blow your mind. This dish is everything you love about a cobb salad (blue cheese, bacon, tomatoes and iceberg) mixed up with one of the most mouth watering burgers you’ll ever taste. I’m simply calling it the cobb salad burger and you just need to try it.

Servings: 4
Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground Beef 70-80% lean
- 1 Egg
- 1 tsp Onion Powder
- 2 Garlic Cloves minced
- Tomatoes sliced thick
- Iceberg Lettuce
- 4 tbsp Blue Cheese
- 4 Buns fresh, baked, soft
- 4 slices Thick Cut Bacon cooked
- Canola Oil
Sauce
- 1/2 cup Mayo
- 2 tbsp Ketchup
- 1 Dill Pickle spear, diced
- 1 tsp White Vinegar
- 1 tsp Sugar
- Pinch of Salt
Instructions
- Mix the burger patties! In a large bowl, gently combine the beef, egg, onion powder and minced garlic with your hand.
- Make the sauce! Mix the mayo, ketchup, diced pickles, vinegar, sugar and salt in a bowl.
- Make and stuff your burgers! Take 1/8 of the burger mixture and form a round patty with it. Add a tablespoon of blue cheese to the center. Take another 1/8 of the burger mixture and make another patty and place it on top. Mold the two pattys together so it looks like one. Push your thumb down in the center of it so that the burger will be flat and even.
- Cook the burgers! Heat a few teaspoons of oil in the pan on high heat until the oil begins to steam. Add your burger and cook the burgers until golden brown and slightly charred on the first side (about 3 minutes). Carefully flip over the burgers. Cook on other side for about 4 minutes or until cooked to desired degree of doneness.
- Assemble the burgers. Place your burger in between your bun. Add sauce, lettuce, bacon and tomatoes! Enjoy!
Love always,
Erica
