When I originally started this blog, my intention was to have it literally be “Everything Erica”. That means everything about me (not just food). Since food is my number one passion, much of what I’ve written about thus far has been culinary related. Today this will change a little bit.
A lot of you have been writing in and asking me about what I do with my lashes and how I get them to look so long and full all the time. I’ve gone back and forth about revealing my secret, but today I will tell you my story.
About 8 months ago, I saw lots of Groupons and deals for eyelash extensions. I gave into the hype and started doing them. Although they looked incredible, the process was long, tedious and most importantly expensive. While I totally loved my extensions, my bank account didn’t agree and frankly, I had to stop.
When I got them removed, I felt like I had some sort of disease. My eyelashes were weak (the ones I had left) and I honestly totally ugly. Although tempted to get back on the extension wagon, I thought I’d try a product I had heard a lot about called Mood Struck 3D Fiber Lashes.
For only $29, this product claimed to provide 300% increase to your lashes that looks completely natural.

Needless to say, I was totally impressed. The photo you see is from the first time I used them and I feel like I’ve gotten better (and thus my lashes look better) every single time.
I made my lashes look like this in 3 easy steps:
1) Start with one coat of your favorite mascara.
3) Let it dry and then add a coat of the “transplanting gel”.
3) Well the gel is still wet, add the “Natural fibers” to your lashes and then seal the fibers on with one more coat of the “transplanting gel”.
The product is water resistant (which is great), so it lasts all day. It was super simple to take off with make-up remover.

I started using 3D lashes several months ago. I went through a year of chemo a few years back and my lashes just have never been the same. I tried every mascara in the world. 3D made me and my lashes look 10 years younger! Love, love, love it!!!!!
