Happy Monday!
I don’t know about you, but every monday I feel like I need to detox. Maybe it’s the excessive amount of food I ate over the weekend or the lack of motivation to get up and go to the gym. Either way, I need a boost to get me back on track.
Today I am going to share a smoothie that will change your life. Not only is it unbelievably delicious (I swear), but it’s so good for you. If you start your day with it, I bet you’ll end up eating great the rest of the day.
Erica’s Detox Green Smoothie
Ingredients
- 1 Banana
- 1/2 Ripe Avocado
- 1 Handful of Spinach
- 1-2 Kale Leaves stems removed
- 1/2 tbsp Honey
- Almond Milk
- Ice Cubes
Instructions
- Blend it all up in a blender! I recommend putting the ice at the bottom, but the rest of the ingredients can go in any order.
I didn’t put measurements for the ice or almond milk because this lets you decide how thick or thin you want it. I usually do one or two large handfuls of ice cubes and then just enough almond milk to cover them in the blender. Play around to get your perfect texture.
Even if you don’t like some of the ingredients in this, try it out. I don’t like kale at all, but this smoothie just totally works. It’s a symbiotic relationship of deliciousness :).
